Upper Denture Reline Kit for Seniors

The DenSureFit Upper Denture Reline Kit is designed to help improve the fit and comfort of upper dentures. Most people require two silicone applicators to get a snug fit on the upper denture, and the full kit is used to achieve a great initial fit. The extra silicone and Snug-Up Tip are for situations where the denture becomes loose after a few days or weeks, even with a great initial fit.

Loosening after a soft reline can occur due to several reasons, such as shrinking of the gums (typical in the first 18 months post-extraction) or reduction of inflammation (gums can become inflamed without the wearer's knowledge, especially when eating or due to medications).

The Snug-Up application is a way to address a loose denture without the need to remove and reapply the entire DenSureFit liner. By applying additional silicone over the existing liner around the middle of the wall/trough area, the denture can be snugged back up without starting from scratch. The Snug-Up procedure is detailed in the instruction booklet.

It's important to note that the silicone liner must be in good condition and bacteria-free to add more to it. If the liner is not in good condition, it needs to be removed, and the process should start again.

When using the extra silicone applicator and Snug-Up Tip, there are two options. If the denture is very loose, the entire applicator of silicone can be used at once for a Snug-Up, saving the Snug-Up Tip for future use. Alternatively, instead of waiting until the denture becomes very loose, half of the applicator of silicone can be applied when the denture is a little loose, following the Snug-Up instructions in the booklet.
